A two-car accident south of Mandan on Highway 6 at milepost 58 Saturday night sent two people to the hospital with minor injuries.
North Dakota Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremy Meisel reported that at about 10:15 p.m. he was called out to the accident that happened in front of the Bohemian Hall.
A car driven by a female juvenile traveling alone was headed north when a car that was leaving the hall pulled out in front of her. The young driver was wearing her seatbelt and received minor injuries when her airbag deployed, Meisel said. A passenger in the second car was taken to the hospital for observation and later released.
The driver of the car entering Highway 6 was cited for failure to yield at an intersection. There were two passengers in the car; all were wearing seatbelts. Meisel suspects both cars were totaled after looking at the damage.
Also arriving at the scene were the Morton sheriff's office, Metro Ambulance and and emergency medical responders.
