Billings County - An environmental assessment of 46 grazing allotments in Billings County will be discussed by the U.S. Forest Service at an open house from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Days Inn in Dickinson and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Comfort Suite in Bismarck. The agency plans to revise its 1960s-era allotment management plans.

Bowman - Bowman's Summer Fest July 26 will include a three-on-three basketball tournament played on Main Street. Entry fee is $45 and registration is required by July 21, by calling 523-5880. The tournament is open to teams starting grade three through adults. Also, the fifth annual garden tour will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 26 along with a light supper from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bowman Lutheran Church. Tickets are available at Dakota Western Banks. Proceeds go toward Dakota Prairie Helping Hands.

Killdeer - A Dunn County centennial concert will be held July 5 at the Killdeer school and rehearsals will be held for eastern Dunn County at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Dunn Center and for western Dunn County at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays in the Killdeer High School band room. Adults and high school students are invited to the choir.

Strasburg - Residents of Strasburg are invited to tour their new water treatment plant from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the plant in Strasburg. A rural water district representative will be on hand to answer questions.

Raleigh - The town of Raleigh is looking for antique tractors for its fifth annual tractor trek and parade July 5. The trek will begin at 9 a.m. in Flasher, traveling to Raleigh in time for the parade. Tractors must be 1970s vintage or older. A $20 entry fee includes a meal after the parade. Mott - The musicians The Kruger Brothers will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Playhouse Theater in Mott. Tickets are available at the door. The Mott Visionary Committee is sponsoring the concert and also will serve hamburgers before the concert starting at 5 p.m. in the Knights of Columbus Hall.

Watford City - The closing of Watford City's Main Street for a total reconstruction of road, sewer and sidewalks has been delayed until today. Planners expected the closing would happen last week, but Northern Improvement, the contractor, is experiencing some delays. The Main Street work will create a detour and closing of businesses' front door access for an anticipated 65 work days, now expected to end around Labor Day.

Garrison - McLean Electric Cooperative will hold its 63rd annual meeting starting with supper and registration at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Garrison City Auditorium. A business meeting will begin at 7 p.m. A grand prize drawing of $1,500 will be held.
Garrison - The Dickens Village Festival Committee will hold a breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Garrison City Auditorium to raise funds to repaint and refurbish the "Queen Elizabus," a double-decker touring bus used during the annual Dickens festival.
