A remembrance service for families who have lost a child through miscarriage, stillbirth or as a newborn, will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Garden of Peace in the southwest corner of Fairview Cemetery, 2929 E. Century Ave., Bismarck.
The service is one of those marking Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, set in the U.S. each Oct. 15. It is open for anyone who has lost a baby or child of any age.
Those who would like to be seated may bring lawn chairs. In case of bad weather, the service will be held in the chapel on the first floor of Medcenter One in Bismarck. The service is sponsored by Birthcenter One and the Pastoral Care departments at Medcenter One.
