Dunn Center - The eighth annual Dunn Center St. Patrick's Day celebration will be held starting with coffee and pie at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Dunn Center City Hall. Entertainment will be featured starting at 2:30 p.m. at the Dunn County museum. The St. Patrick's Day parade will be held at 4:30 p.m., followed by a corn beef, sausage and Irish stew supper at the Ilo Bar. Also, a chili meal fundraiser will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. March 25 at the Halliday school to help pay Quintana Biffert's Nashville album recording expenses.

Washburn - A public hearing will be held at 1:30 p.m. March 19 at the McLean County Courthouse in Washburn for the county planning and zoning committee to hear a request for approval of a new 12-lot subdivision at Coleharbor on the north and east sides of the Audubon National Wildlife Refuge.
