Mandan girl cited for terrorizing
A 13-year-old Mandan girl has been cited with terrorizing for allegedly bringing a knife to school.
Mandan Police Chief Dennis Rohr said the girl showed the knife, which had a 5-inch blade, to someone at lunch on Friday.
Another student reported that the girl said she was going to kill someone with it, then later said she was joking. He said the girl also allegedly threatened to harm the other student if anyone found out about the knife.
The school resource officer had a female officer come to Mandan Junior High and search the girl, and a knife was found, Rohr said.
