The North Dakota Department of Transportation is seeking comments on the amendment to the 2009-12 State Transportation Improvement Program for inclusion of the 2007 National Scenic Byways Program Grants in 2009.

The public can view the current STIP by going to the NDDOT Web site at www.nd.gov, clicking on "More Public," then clicking on the "Future Road Projects - 2009-2012 Final Statewide Transportation Improvement Program."

Comments should be sent no later than Jan. 15 to Dave Leftwich at NDDOT, 608 E. Boulevard Ave., Bismarck, N.D. 58505-0700, or e-mailed to dleftwic@;nd.gov with "National Scenic Byways Program" in the subject line.
