Linton - The 14th annual Cow College will be held from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today at the Emmons County Courthouse auditorium in Linton. Participants will learn about the effect of ethanol production on feed costs and heterosis from dairy cow crossbreeding. The program is sponsored by NDSU and the Midwest Dairy Association.

New Leipzig - The eighth annual Grant County Ag Day will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the New Leipzig Community Center. Displays will open at 9:30 a.m., and the day will include a free lunch at 11:30 a.m. and sessions on Red Trail Energy, spring wheat contracts and the carbon credit program.

Sentinel Butte - The Sentinel Butte Fire Department annual pancake and sausage supper and pie auction will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. March 3 at the Sentinel Butte hall. Regent - A workshop outlining best practices for corn production in western North Dakota will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 13 at the American Legion Hall in Regent. The topics will include managing soil water, practices in drought prone areas, weed control in corn, marketing corn to the ethanol industry, and harvesting and drying corn.
