Heartland Child Nutrition is sponsoring a local nutrition workshop for child care providers.

"Put Our State on Your Plate," is a free two-hour workshop presented by Heartland regional director Tanya Thomas-Parsons from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 to 11 a.m. March 29 at the Morton County Courthouse, 210 Second Ave. N.W., Mandan.

"Put Our State on Your Plate" offers a look at how child care providers can incorporate an array of North Dakota products in their child and adult care food program menus.

Food program credit will be given to licensed or certified child care providers. Preregistration is required.
