A high-risk sex offender now is living in Bismarck.

Thomas Maedche, 26, now lives at 1111 N. 12th St., Apt. B.

Maedche was convicted in June of indecent exposure for exposing himself to a 9-year-old girl. He also has several sexual assaults on his juvenile record in Montana.

South Central District Judge Donald Jorgensen sentenced Maedche, of Bismarck, to six months in jail for indecent exposure in June and gave him credit for time spent in treatment.

According to a release from the Bismarck Police Department, the information is being given to the public for safety reasons. "This information is not to be used to threaten, harass, assault or intimidate the registered offenders," the release said.
