FARGO (AP) - Kum & Go convenience stores in Bismarck and West Fargo are being sold as part of a companywide consolidation move.
Kum & Go spokeswoman Sara Wille said the chain has 15 stores in North Dakota. She said 13 are owned by Kum & Go and two are owned by Cenex and managed by Kum & Go.
A statement from the Hampton, Iowa-based convenience store chain said it is holding a sealed bid auction of 21 stores, including the two in North Dakota, 12 in Iowa, three in South Dakota, and one each in Missouri, Montana, Nebraska and Wyoming.
The company statement said Kum & Go has started selling smaller locations and stores last August to "consolidate and strengthen" its base and offer a consistent brand.
The store in Bismarck is located at 207 E. Rosser.
