Beach - The Beach School Board will act on a resolution to develop an area career and technology center at 6:30 p.m. March 25 at a special meeting at the school. The center will be a cooperative among several districts that will share their proportionate costs.

Carson - An Easter egg hunt for children age 9 and under will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Grant County fair building at Carson. Children are invited to play games, see the Easter bunny and hunt for eggs. The Carson Women's Club is sponsoring the event.

Washburn - A photography exhibit "Marking the Land: Jim Dow in North Dakota," will be on display at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center in Washburn Friday through April 18. The exhibit is organized by the North Dakota Museum of Art and it is touring through the museum's rural arts initiative.
