A Texas man was arrested Saturday in Alabama for allegedly murdering a Dickinson man earlier this month and leaving his body on a remote section line in southern Dunn County.

Shane P. Miller, 39, waived extradition in an Alabama magistrate court Monday afternoon and will be transported within 10 days to Southwest District Court, where he'll allegedly be charged with the Class AA felony.

Dunn County State's Attorney Ross Sundeen said the case is still under investigation by multiple enforcement agencies, and it appears that at least one or more arrests still may be made in relation to the murder.

Miller is allegedly charged with killing Neal Matejovsky, 49, whose body was sighted by a helicopter crew Friday, two days after Dickinson area police started getting tips about a possible murder and dead body in the area. A ground crew moved in after the body was sighted from the air about eight miles east of Highway 22.

Before his body was discovered, Matejovsky had reportedly been missing for about 10 days, starting when he failed to appear to pick up a check from a social worker.

Sundeen said he didn't know where Miller might have been employed or staying in North Dakota, but that he has a prior criminal history in Texas.
