The road to grandma's house may not be lined with tulips this weekend, but it should at least be free of snow and ice.
Though it may be cooler than normal outside for Easter, the weather shouldn't stop any travelers from hitting the road.
The National Weather Service has forecast a blustery Good Friday, with winds pushing 25 mph and a high temperature of 27 degrees. The low tonight should be around 10.
The weather on Saturday should be pretty similar to today's.
It looks like things could improve on Sunday, which is expected to be mostly sunny. The high should be around 45 degrees. That would be more normal for this time of year, when high temperatures are usually in the low 50s.
Highs for Monday through Thursday of next week are predicted to be around 50. There's a slight chance of snow on Monday night.
Incidentally, the 4 inches of snow that fell earlier this week pushed Bismarck over 40 inches for the season. That's above average here, and significantly above last winter's 29 inches.
