The Missouri Slope Model Aero Club will be holding its 2008 mall show and swap meet today.

The mall show will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kirkwood Mall, north entrance, and the swap meet will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Wheels Wings-N-Hobbies, 4018 Memorial Highway, Mandan.

The public is invited to come to the mall and look at the model airplanes and helicopters. Awards will be given in several categories at the show.

Lloyd Boehm, a founding member of the club, will be recognized with a memorial at the mall show. Boehm died Nov. 25, 2007, and several of his original models will be on display.

The swap meet has only model items.
