FARGO - A former truancy officer for Moorhead, Minn., schools has pleaded guilty to corrupting a minor in an incident involving a 16-year-old boy she met while working at a youth treatment center.

Kimberly Michelle Nack, 29, pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge of corruption or solicitation of a minor as part of an agreement that dropped a felony sexual assault charge.

Nack acknowledged in East Central District Court on Wednesday that she engaged in a sexual act with the boy by allowing him to fondle her.

Authorities found the 16-year-old runaway at Nack's Fargo apartment on Dec. 23. The two met when she worked at Luther Hall, a Fargo youth treatment center.

Nack also faces a misdemeanor charge of harboring a runaway minor, for allowing him to stay at her apartment while authorities were looking for him.

She has pleaded not guilty to that charge.

East Central District Court Judge Wade Webb ordered a presentence investigation and a risk assessment before Nack is sentenced.

Nack may be required to register as a sex offender for the corruption charge.

Nack is out on $10,000 bond and has moved out of the Fargo apartment where the boy was found. She is staying in Hawley, Minn., with her mother, her attorney, Lindsey Haugen, has said.
