Starting today, Morrison Avenue and part of Washington Street will be closed.

Morrison Avenue will be closed for five days to connect a water main across the street, and no detour will be in place, according to a news release from Mark Berg, traffic engineer.

Washington Street will be closed between Avenue D and Rosser Avenue to remove unsafe trees. The closure will continue north on a block-by-block basis until the work is complete, and a detour will be used, the news release said.
