A moderate-risk offender is now living in Mandan.
Marcus Jahner, 36, now lives at 1510 First Ave. N.W. No. 3.
Jahner was convicted in December 1999 in Burleigh County for corruption of a minor for having sexual contact with a 17-year-old girl who was an acquaintance.
South Central District Judge Bruce Haskell sentenced him to one year in prison, with all but 61 days suspended and two years of probation.
He moved to Mandan on Oct. 6.
Mandan police say Jahner is not wanted by law enforcement and has served the sentence imposed by the court.
"This notification is not intended to increase fear in the community,"the release said. "It is the belief of the Mandan Police Department that an informed public is a safer public."
