A 13-year-old Bismarck boy facing terrorizing and disorderly conduct citations for incidents involving a knife now has been cited for assault for allegedly slashing another boy with a razor blade.

The boy was cited with the first two offenses last week after people reported he had come up behind another boy and held a knife to his throat and had showed the knife during a disagreement.

He was placed at the Youth Correctional Center after those incidents were reported.

On Monday, a different 13-year-old boy reported that sometime in September the boy had slashed him with a razor blade while they were sitting in band class at Simle Middle School, Bismarck Police Lt. Randy Ziegler said. He said the boy had not reported the incident previously because he was afraid.

Police reports do not contain any information about why the boy accused in the incidents would have acted in such ways, Ziegler said. He said the boy appears to have been unprovoked.
