Hettinger - Hettinger High School choir and band students who will advance in competitions will perform for the public starting at 6:30 tonight at the school. The performances will be held simultaneously in the audio-visual room, the band room and Ms. Dunn's classroom. The public is invited.

Bowman - The annual meeting of Southwest Healthcare Services will be held at 6:30 p.m. March 24 at the Bowman City Hall. The agenda will include election of board members, review of 2007 health care assessment and a year-end financial report.

Dunn County - The Killdeer Lions and Town Criers will hold their 17th annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Lions Park in Killdeer, open to children ages 1 through 10. Also, the Sunshine Club will hold an Easter egg hunt starting at 10 a.m. Saturday in Dodge.

Beach - National Agriculture Week is being celebrated with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Golden Valley County extension office in Beach. Also, the Farmers Union Oil Co. of Beach will hold its annual meeting at noon Tuesday at the Legion Club in Beach. Business and elections will be conducted and dividend checks will be distributed.

Steele - The Kidder County Township Officers Association spring meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Steele Community Center. The meeting will include district meetings and elections and reorganization of the township directors' board.

Napoleon - Napoleon Relay for Life in support of cancer research will hold an Easter bake sale starting at 9 a.m. Friday at the First Community Credit Union in Napoleon. Also, a Relay for Life hotdog feed will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Downtowner restaurant banquet room, following the community Easter egg hunt. Also, the Farmers Union will hold a "farmer's share" meal from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Wentz Cafe in Napoleon. The spaghetti meal will cost $1 to represent the farmer's income share of the food provided.

Hazen - The fourth annual Taste of Hazen, featuring samplings of beverages and foods, will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Hazen City Hall, with a pie auction starting at 5 p.m. Cost is $5. People can vote and the winning taste entry will receive a "People's Choice" trophy. Proceeds go toward Hazen Chamber of Commerce activities. Also, the Mercer County Farm Bureau will hold a meeting to talk about the local effect of a Missouri River National Heritage Area designation at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hazen City Hall.

Glen Ullin - A presentation by Ken Tupa, "Staying Sharp," will be held at 7 tonight at the Blue Room in Glen Ullin, sponsored by the Germans From Russia Society. The evening will start with a potluck supper at 6 p.m. and everyone is welcome to hear Tupa talk about normal memory loss and action steps to improve memory.

New Town - Mountrail-Williams Electric Cooperative will host a public meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the New Town Civic Center to talk about a proposed new 37-mile transmission line from Tioga to the Belden substation. The co-op will talk about need and funding for the project. Everyone is welcome.

Center - The annual Center Community Club Easter egg hunt will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the yard of the Oliver County Courthouse in Center. The hunt is open to children preschool through sixth grade and children will receive a goodie bag, cookies and a beverage. Also, the Center Housing Authority Board will host an open house at 7 p.m. March 26 at the Center Civic Center to discuss possible senior housing and private home construction in Center. L/B Homes will provide housing plans for discussion.
