Soldiers from the Minot-based 164th Engineer Battalion Security Forces are scheduled to return home today from their demobilization station at Camp Shelby, Miss.

Most of the soldiers will return on a single charter flight which is scheduled to stop at the Bismarck Municipal Airport at 8:40 a.m. before continuing to the Minot International Airport with an expected arrival time of 9:55 a.m.

Forty-four soldiers are arriving in Bismarck and 63 in Minot.

Soldiers may be greeted at the Bismarck Airport, however because of parking considerations at the Minot Airport, the soldiers will be bused to the Minot Armed Forces Reserve Center, 3420 Second St. NE. The AFRC will be open at 8 a.m. for family and friends.

The public is invited to line the route of travel. The bus is expected to travel west on airport road to Highway 83, North on 83 to 35th Avenue NE; then head east to the ARFC. No formal program is planned after the soldiers arrive at the Reserve Center.
