If you're the kind of person who puts up a hand and says, "Don't tell me, don't tell me, let me guess!" here's one for you.
What's the name of a new restaurant and twin theater in Watford City?
Here are some clues.
The name jibes with the incorporation name "Six Shooters LLC," which includes Steve and Gretchen Stenehjem and their four children.
Think possibly gunslinger, cowboys and the wild wild west.
Think Watford City flavor.
Give up?
You'll have to check the Tribune's Web site later today, or read Saturday's newspaper for the answer.
The Stenehjems - he's president of First International Bank - are going to spill the name "beans" later this morning. The Stenehjems also will announce when the complex is expected to open.
Excitement has been building around the community as a $6 million "plus, plus" project - the biggest construction project at that end of the state - finally draws near completion.
The building is an eye-catching structure, two stories high, of natural woods, glass and stone with a bit of a timber lodge look.
It's already an impressive presence on Watford's Main Street, where a new visitor center and theme playground anchor the south end.
It started two years ago, when the bank board decided to invest not only in an enlarged bank building, but a steakhouse restaurant and theater complex under the same roof.
The project required the relocation of several businesses and demolition of nearly a city block to make room.
Gretchen Stenehjem said it appears the bank and restaurant should be ready to open in June, though the two 106-seat theaters will take a while longer.
Western North Dakotans familiar with the Buckskin Grill and Saloon in Killdeer will be interested to hear that Buckskin owner Eric Kehr, along with Bruce Erickson, of Watford City, will manage the food and entertainment side of the business.
Gretchen Stenehjem said the family believes, after some research, that it's found a name that's one of a kind in the country. Another clue?
Stay tuned. You can read it here Saturday, or check the Tribune's Web site later today.
