STEELE (AP) - Kidder County Sheriff Doug Howard says more than 50 people have been interviewed by authorities trying to find out how LuVern Nastrom died.

It was three years ago this month when the Bismarck man was found dead. A rancher checking on his cows found a car pushed up against a fence off a gravel road just north of Tuttle. The body of the 49-year-old Nastrom was about 75 feet behind the car.

Officials say he died of blows to the head and chest sometime the night before his body was found. They don't know how he got to the gravel road.

Howard says authorities are still looking for clues. He says no one reported seeing Nastrom in Kidder County before his death.
