A quilt pattern designer who is formerly from Turtle Lake will show her quilts and share her story of a mother-daughter quilting relationship in a presentation on June 6 in Bismarck.
Lori Allison's "Quilting With My Mother" tea and trunk show will begin at 1:30 p.m. at McCabe United Methodist Church, 1030 N. Sixth St. Admission to the public event is $5 at the door.
Allison, from Minneapolis, designs contemporary quilt patterns for novice quilters. Her lecture will highlight the symbiotic quilting relationship with her mother and illustrate the richness of a shared quilter's life.
Allison's mother, Carol Sundby of Turtle Lake, also will be at the event and some of her antique quilts will be shown.
The tea and trunk show is sponsored by Capital Quilters. For more information, contact Evelyn Buchfink, 255-1509.
