A 21-year-old Omaha, Neb., man was stabbed in the lower left arm during an early morning traffic altercation in north Bismarck on Saturday.
The incident - reported at 1:48 a.m. while the victim was being treated for a "deep laceration" at Medcenter One - occurred after two cars pulled up next to each other at the intersection of State Street and Century Avenue, said Bismarck Police Lt. Mike McMerty.
The victim reported that an argument ensued. One person from each car then got out, and sometime after that the stabbing occurred.
McMerty said it's not known if the two people knew each other, nor is an exact time known of when this happened - just that it was early Saturday morning, sometime. And the only description the victim gave of his assailant was that he was a male.
Police don't have a suspect in custody, and, as of Saturday afternoon, weren't releasing a description of the suspect's vehicle. The case remains under investigation.
