Every year, theaters around the world are filled with the sounds of Jim Brickman, where audiences gather for a relaxing getaway, if only for a few hours.
Jim Brickman, recording artist, pianist and composer, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Bismarck Civic Center. Tickets, ranging from $27 to $47, are on sale at the Bismarck Civic Center box office, www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000.
A native of Cleveland, Brickman began playing piano at age 5 and studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music.
Since the release of his debut album "No Words" in 1994, Brickman has had a number of hits and awards. He also has a weekly radio show, ("Your Weekend"), two books ("Simple Things" and "Love Notes") and the Jim Brickman Cruise.
