Lankin man killed in rollover

A Lankin man was killed early Friday morning when his pickup entered a ditch and rolled.

The 20-year-old man, whose name has not been released, was driving north on Walsh County Road 12B five miles south of Park River. North Dakota Highway Patrol Capt. Kevin Robson said the man lost control of the vehicle and entered the east ditch. The vehicle rolled and he was ejected.

He sustained head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene. The patrol, Park River Ambulance and Walsh County Sheriff's Department responded to the accident.

He was not wearing a seat belt.
