The City of Bismarck Engineering Department has announced repairs that will alter traffic starting Monday.

Starting at 8 a.m. Monday, Vista Lane will be closed to repair a retaining wall. The repair is expected to take about 10 days; no detour will be in place. Vista Lane will be open during nonworking hours to one lane of traffic.

After 8 a.m. Monday, River Road will be restricted to one lane for vehicle traffic adjacent to Pioneer Park. The Forestry Department will be removing some elm trees infected with Dutch elm disease. The restriction is expected to extend into the early afternoon.

Traffic should expect some delays and motorists may wish to seek alternate routes. Access to Meriwether's and the Port of Bismarck will be maintained. The multiuse trail will be open to the public.
