Farmers Market Day scheduled

The fifth annual Farmers Market Day at the Capitol will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the parking loop on the south side of the state Capitol.

There will be lunches available. Local musician Shawn Oban will perform.

The public event is sponsored by the North Dakota Department of Agriculture, the Council of State Employees, the North Dakota Cancer Coalition and A'viands.

Also, the 2009 edition of "Grown in North Dakota," the state's guide to farmers markets and producers, is now available from the North Dakota Department of Agriculture.
