A South Dakota woman was killed Saturday when she lost control of her motorcycle on a highway south of Forman, in southeastern North Dakota.
Brenda Lee Wirtz, 48, was traveling south on Highway 32 from Forman to a house in rural Rutland, according to a report from the state Highway Patrol. Wirtz lost control negotiating a curve two miles south of Forman, near the junction with Highway 11. She was thrown from her motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene. Wirtz, from Britton, S.D., had not been wearing a helmet.
The accident occurred at 9:15 p.m.
