The Bismarck High School Demonettes placed first in all but one category at the Dickinson Midgettes Dance Invitational held Saturday at Dickinson High School.

The Varsity Demonettes placed first in kick, dance and pom and second in hip-hop. The JV team placed first in both kick and pom.

Other teams that placed are:

n Dickinson Midgettes: second in kick, second in dance and first in hip-hop.

n St. Mary's Saintiques: second in pom and third in kick.

n St. Mary's JV: second in kick and pom.

n Century Centahnas: third in dance and third in hip-hop.

n Mandan Kachinas: third in pom.

In addition, St. Mary's placed first in the middle school division, followed by the Wachter Danzadors. In Class B competition, the Hazen Highlights placed first in kick, dance and pom, while the Kickin' It Dance team placed second in kick, and the Beulah Sapphires placed second in dance and pom.

The next drill team invitational is Saturday at Bismarck St. Mary's High School.
