Police are investigating a fight among teenage girls that left one girl with a fractured jaw.

Bismarck Police Sgt. Dwight Offerman said a 15-year-old Bismarck girl and a 16-year-old Bismarck girl got in a fight in west Bismarck on Friday around 11 p.m. The 15-year- old's 19-year-old sister, also of Bismarck, held down the 16-year-old while the 15-year-old continued hitting the 16-year-old, Offerman said.

The 16-year-old went to the hospital and was treated for a fractured jaw, he said.

The case is under investigation and will be forwarded to the Burleigh County State's Attorney's office.
