BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The American Lung Association and the North Dakota Ethanol Producers Association are planning a campaign to promote ethanol use, and the state's Renewable Energy Council is kicking in money to support it.
State Commerce Director Shane Goettle (GET'-ul) chairs the council. Goettle says the American Lung Association believes ethanol is better for the environment than regular unleaded gasoline.
The state Industrial Commission has approved the Renewable Energy Council's $168,000 investment in the promotional campaign.
