A Bismarck man has been charged with burglary for allegedly breaking into a Bismarck home and stealing a computer.
Trenton Dean Bourgois, 21, was charged Monday with the Class Cfelony.
South Central District Court Judge Bruce Haskell set a $5,000 unsecured bond for Bourgois. An unsecured bond only has to be posted if a defendant fails to appear at a court proceeding.
Bismarck Police Lt. Dan Donlin said a 14-year-old boy on the 4700 block of British Drive noticed his computer was gone when he got home at around 5 p.m. Thursday. His mother, a 38-year-old Bismarck woman, reported the theft to police.
The boy thought Bourgois may have the computer, and his mother called Bourgois's mother, Donlin said. He said the computer was found in Bourgois's car trunk and was returned to the owners.
