Steven James Danielson, 30, of Bismarck, who was driving a car Friday that allegedly had in it about 6 grams of methamphetamine valued at $1,500 was arrested on felony drug charges, and bond was set Monday at $10,000 by South Central District Judge Sonna Anderson.

The meth was found during a traffic stop in the 3800 block of Lockport Street at 12:33 p.m. Friday. Danielson and his passenger, Wynn Walstad, 35, of Bismarck, were arrested, said Bismarck Police Sgt. Dwight Offerman.

Offerman said a police officer recognized Danielson, who has a prior criminal history, and stopped Danielson's vehicle Friday. Danielson was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, driving under intoxication, driving with a suspended license and for not having liability insurance.

Bond was set Monday at $25,000 for Walstad, who was charged with two felonies - felony possession of methamphetamine, second offense; and possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia.
