FORT YATES - Sitting Bull College received approval from The Higher Learning Commission of North Central Association of Colleges and Schools to offer four new bachelor of science programs.
Koreen Ressler, vice president of academics at Sitting Bull College said, "The new programs include bachelor of science degrees in special education, early childhood education, secondary science education and general studies."
The college now offers bachelor degrees in elementary education, business administration and environmental science.
Sitting Bull College is in its fourth year of a 10-year accreditation, with the new programs to begin this fall.
