More snow headed our way in forecast wz08

More snow is on the way.

Len Peterson, program manager for the Bismarck Office of the National Weather Service, said total snow accumulation for Bismarck-Mandan will range between 2 and 5 inches for Friday and today.

Friday's overnight low was forecast to be zero, but with gusts of 35 mph, wind chills were expected to reach 20 below. Today's high is expected to be zero to 5 above. Winds will slow slightly to between 10 mph and 20 mph. The overnight low will be 15 below, but wind chills will make it feel like 42 below.

Sunday's high will be zero to 5 above, with winds settling at 10 mph, and the overnight low could reach 10 below zero.

Monday's high is expected to be 10 to 15 above, with a low of 5 to 10 above.

There is a slight chance of snow on Tuesday, with highs at 5 to 10 above zero and lows of 5 above zero.

Wednesday's high will be 10 to 15 above zero, with lows of zero to 5 above.
