Hettinger - A one-time drapery workshop presented by former drapery business owner Sylvia Weishaar will be held starting at noon Oct. 25 at the Hettinger Armory. She'll do demonstrations and participants will experiment with fabrics. Cost is $15. Also, a community flu shot day will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the Hettinger Armory.

Fryburg - The Southwestern District Health Unit will hold a mass vaccination exercise for Billings and Golden Valley counties from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 22 at the former Fryburg school. The first 100 people will receive free flu vaccinations. The exercise is intended to give emergency responders an opportunity to work with a large group of people.

Hazelton - A Just Wind community and landowner meeting for the Hazelton area will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hazelton Community Center. North Unit - Prescribed fires will be lit sometime this month in the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, with plans to burn nearly 1,000 acres in varying burn units. Visitors will be warned with signs posted on the park road and at the visitor center, though all sections of the park road that are not under construction will remain open during the burns. Watford City - The Watford City Boy Scouts will hold their annual spaghetti supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Watford City Civic Center. Proceeds will go to support the Scouts.
