Hettinger - A town hall meeting and teen challenge on the topic of underage drinking and destructive social behaviors will be held April 16 in the Hettinger High School large gym. Sessions for teens will be held at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., followed by a community meal and town meeting at 6 p.m. A general discussion will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Bowman - Hunter safety classes will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Bowman City Hall. The class size is limited to 25 participants, ages 12 and up. Linton - The Linton Industrial Development Corp. will hold its annual meeting at 6:30 tonight at the Linton Community Center. Beach - The spring District 8 Game and Fish advisory meeting will be held at 7 p.m. April 14 at the Beach ambulance building. The public is invited to discuss fish and wildlife issues.
The district includes Adams, Billings, Bowman, Dunn, Golden Valley, Hettinger, Slope and Stark counties.
Golva - A rummage and bake sale will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Golva. Anyone who wants to donate items can leave them in the church dining hall from Wednesday to noon Friday.

Grant County - The Grant County Commission will hold public meetings to explain how voting by mail will work for the upcoming election. The meetings will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Community Center in New Leipzig; at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Cowboy Cafe in Carson; at 7 p.m. Friday at the Elgin Community Center; and at 7 p.m. April 14 at the Dogtooth Inn in Raleigh.

Hettinger County - Hettinger County township board of equalization meetings will be held April 14 at the township clerk office, and Hettinger County cities' boards of equalization will meet Tuesday at the office of the respective city auditor.
