Dodge - The State Board of Public Education will hold a public hearing at 1 p.m. April 16 at the Comfort Inn in Bismarck on whether to approve the Dunn County School Reorganization Committee's dissolution plan for dissolving the Dodge Public School district.

Mott - The Hettinger County Commission will hold a public meeting at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Hettinger County Courthouse in Mott to decide whether to open a historical cornerstone box on April 19, the occasion of the county's 100th anniversary, and assemble a new history box, or wait until a future anniversary. A list of the box's contents is available at the courthouse.

Napoleon - A hot dog lunch, with chips and floats, will be served Saturday at the Downtowner restaurant in Napoleon, following an Easter egg hunt that will start at 11 a.m. at the Golden Age Hall. The Easter event is open to kids up to age 9. Proceeds from the lunch will go toward the Napoleon Relay for Life.

Max - Max residents will vote April 24 in a special election to decide whether to recall Mayor Jodi Gullickson. Voters can choose to vote for her, or for one of two challengers, Marian Schmaltz or LaeRae Hackett. The city hall will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. for voting.

Underwood - The public is invited to a strategic planning meeting to help develop a future direction for Underwood at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Underwood City Hall. Kathleen Tweeten, of North Dakota State University, will facilitate the discussion.
