Rueben Wagner, 87, of Washburn, died Sunday at Medcenter One from injuries sustained in a car wreck July 2, a half mile north of Washburn.

Wagner's brother and passenger, Albert Wagner, 85, Bismarck, was injured in the accident but since has been released, according to reports from the Highway Patrol.

On July 2, Rueben Wagner entered onto N.D. Highway 200A headed southbound from an adjacent farm field when Larry Ashley, 37 of Lincoln rear ended Wagner's vehicle, according to the patrol.

Wagner's vehicle overturned into the east ditch and landed on its top.

Ashley was charged with careless driving.
