A Bismarck man sentenced in October on drug charges was picked up that same month on a separate incident allegedly involving the delivery of methamphetamine.

Worse, the man has a prior felony conviction and the alleged crime took place within 1,000 feet of a school. That makes it a AA felony, punishable in this case by a minimum of eight years in prison, Burleigh County prosecutor Lloyd Suhr said.

Stanley Dillman Jr. made his first appearance Oct. 9 on charges he delivered meth and that the delivery took place within 1,000 feet of a school. The former, an A felony, carries a mandatory prison sentence of five years.

At a preliminary hearing Monday, Dillman pleaded not guilty to both counts. The 28-year-old man has a pre-trial conference scheduled for Dec. 22.

Dillman was convicted in 1995 of possession of meth.
