Gas prices continue to post at $3.69 a gallon for regular unleaded in Bismarck, and the Tribune wants to know if and how residents are changing their habits.
Readers can go to www.bismarcktribune.com and click on the "Take our gas price poll" button in the middle right-hand column, above the "Top Comments" section. Participants will then be asked a few basic questions to determine whether habits are truly changing.
Speculation that prices will rise to $4 a gallon over the summer has experts assuming drivers may change their habits to reduce consumption, such as carpooling or purchasing more fuel-efficient vehicles. Others say drivers have already begun to change general spending habits that reflect how much household budgets have changed due to fuel costs; for example, are you going to fewer movies or spending less money on recreational activities? We want to know.
