A man and woman from Tuttle died in a Monday morning crash south of Wing.
According to a release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the 81-year-old man was the driver of a 2001 Chevrolet Impala that struck a 1995 Kenworth pulling empty double hay trailers at an intersection about eight miles south of Wing.
The Chevrolet was westbound on 214 Avenue, a gravel-surfaced road, and the Kenworth was northbound on state Highway 14. The 81-year-old man ran a stop sign and struck the truck around 6:45 a.m., the patrol release said.
A 75-year-old woman who was a passenger in the Chevrolet also was killed in the crash, the patrol said.
The driver of the truck, a 32-year-old Fort Rice man, was not injured.
No names have been released pending notification of family. The crash remains under investigation.
