A walk to support the ALS Association will be held May 16. The association is for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
The walk starts in Sertoma Park at 10 a.m. Registration begins at 9 a.m. The Minnesota chapter sponsors the event and recently added North Dakota to its service area. Three-quarters of the money raised at the walk will stay in North Dakota to help pay for programs and services offered through the association. The goal for the walk is $7,500.
