The Three Affiliated Tribes will build a memorial structure to honor Mandaree Tribal Council representative Bernard "Nathan" Hale.

Hale died last year.

The memorial will stand 6 feet tall, and will include an eternal flame along with a proclamation.

The memorial will stand on the east side of the Three Affiliated Tribes Administration Building facing east and is scheduled for placement in May.

An unveiling and special remembrance program is scheduled for May 25.
