Mandan looks at bus routes
The Mandan School District transportation department wants updated student information.
It is assigning students to bus routes, and needs to make sure student addresses are correct. Letters were sent to parents and a response is needed by July 9.
At the next Mandan School Board meeting Monday, the changes to bus routes for the next school year will be discussed. Changes will be made because of the opening of the Mandan Middle School and the Great Plains Sixth Grade Academy.
So far, the district anticipates busing about 456 students to the middle school and 207 students to the academy, according to a report by transportation director Gordon Berge.
The transportation plan will be discussed during the meeting. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in the Central Administration building, 309 Collins Ave.
