It's a long weekend for some students and workers. Some schools and offices are closed for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday Monday.

Bismarck and Mandan public schools are closed on Monday. Shiloh Christian School and St. Mary's School have no school. St. Anne's School, Cathedral and St. Mary's High School do have school Monday, as well as the University of Mary. Bismarck State College does not have classes and United Tribes Technical College will have classes half the day.

Bismarck, Mandan, Burleigh, Morton and state offices will be closed. There will be no garbage collected Monday. It will be picked up Tuesday. The U.S. Postal Service will be closed Monday, along with other federal offices.
