A Mandan man has been charged with two felonies related to a standoff with police on Thursday.

Todd Brave Crow, 29, was charged Friday with terrorizing and interference with a telephone during an emergency call.

Mandan Police Lt. Chris Miller said officers were called to a possible domestic dispute on the 900 block of Poplar Street at 1:58 a.m. Thursday. He said they were met on their arrival by Brave Crow, who Miller said was displaying knives and a compound bow while threatening officers.

West Dakota SWAT members later made contact with someone in the home, entered the home and arrested Brave Crow without incident.

His girlfriend and three children inside were not injured. A fourth child had fled the residence prior to the standoff, which is how the original domestic dispute was reported, Miller said. Social services has been contacted in the case.
