The Bismarck-Mandan Mayor's Committee on Employing People with Disabilities was to present the Bobcats' hockey staff with the quarterly award for exemplary hiring practices.

The Bobcats' hockey staff was to receive the award after the first period of its game Friday. The staff was nominated by Laura Mildrenberger on behalf of Michael Brown, a Bismarck Public Schools student in the community-based education program. Brown has worked with the hockey team since September 2005.
