Montana-Dakota Utilities will be doing high-voltage electrical work across Bismarck Expressway in Mandan near Memorial Bridge today.

The work will require closure of both north and southbound lanes of Bismarck Expressway south of the Memorial Bridge interchange.

Traffic will be halted in intervals, each lasting for about 10 minutes from about 1:15 p.m. to 3 p.m. today. Traffic will be stopped for 10 minutes as the lines are lowered to the roadway surface and removed. Then the roadway will be reopened until the next line is ready to be lowered to the roadway surface.

It is expected there will be five of these intermittent closures. Flaggers will be on hand to control traffic.
